Having been through several mergers and acquisitions, on both the buy and sell-side, my experience has been that mergers and acquisitions consistently fail to deliver the synergies and efficiencies that were envisioned when the plan was developed. This failure during the integration phase is largely for two reasons. The first is that those leading the integration aren’t the same as the visionaries who painted the picture of the combined organization in the first place. Secondly, since there never was an executable integration strategy in place, leaders are “winging it” as they move from one crisis to another.

We help organizations align goals, integrate cultures, anticipate problem integration areas and develop communication strategies that are crucial to effective change management and successful integration.
